Idyllic location with beautiful views and total privacy. The house, sauna, dock, and property provide a perfect escape into nature. The buildings are modern, comfortable, and just what we needed to relax and unwind. Every aspect of the place is thoughtfully curated. Otto and Jussi are great at communicating, and ensure your time there is a worry free. If you see this property available, don't pass up the opportunity to book it! P.S. In the warmer months take the rowboat out around the lake!

It's hard to find the right words for Otto's beautiful place. It's everything you wish for from your holiday location plus a little bit more. It's peaceful, with astonishing views of the lake and plenty of wild life to observe. It's a place you need to experience! In addition, Otto and Jussi are a delight to communicate with and very helpful.

Unbelievable. Beautiful. Even better than the pictures. Best accommodation I've ever been too and a wonderful way to experience a comfortable Mökki life.

5 Star private peaceful clean cabin where you can relax and enjoy Finland’s beautiful nature! We would definitely rent again during another season. Otto & Jussi were wonderful hosts, they thought of everything! Thank you so much for having the hot tub and sauna ready to go for our first evening…we didn’t want to leave!

A serene retreat in the woods with a spa-like sauna and hot tub. It was a delight to stay there and watch the beautiful sunsets and even a glimpse of the Northern Lights one evening. Wonderful host. Highly recommend this for any one wanting a true Finnish experience.

This place is a real treat. From the interaction with the host, we had a late check in but Jussi waited for us and showed us everything. Next morning we woke up to a amazing view, how the houses are laid out with the surrounding landscape is really nice. The choice not to have a tv in the house is a good choice, it forces you to interact with the people more and really enjoy your surroundings. The sauna and hot tub were great. Since the house is far from any bigger city there was no light pollution and we were able to see all the stars perfectly while sitting in the tub. Definitely a place to save to your favorites and visit again some other season of the year.

Otto’s place is magical. We stayed here with our 10 year old daughter for four days. We spent that time swimming in the lake, and enjoying the sauna and hot tub, exploring the forest, boating in the rowing boat and just relaxing. It was wonderful! The house has every amenity you could really ask for, and there was plenty of dry firewood for us ti keep things cosy for our visit (in the autumn). The house is well equipped for cooking and we had everything we needed even to make a birthday cake! The beds were comfortable and and the views from the house and rooms is the loveliest to wake up to! Otto and our local contact, Jussi, were incredibly helpful and kind - they were easy to contact and answered any questions we had. We even arrived to a home made, traditional Finnish apple cake made by Jussi’a wife - it was delicious. All in all we couldn’t have found a more lovely space to be in. We hope to come back!

Prior to our stay the communication with the owner was perfect. Upon arrival Jussi gave us a very nice introduction to the perfectly fitted house and it's beautiful surroundings. The location of the house is amazing and one could spend hours watching the lake - from the living room, sauna or hot tub. There are plenty of awesome places to enjoy the beauty of the nature!

Awesome house in beautiful place. The house has all you need to feel like home. Fantastic views guaranteed. Super sauna on the lake, great fishing experience and other activities made our stay the one to remember. Very supportive and friendly host and caretaker. We just left the place but already dreaming to get back soon!

It was a perfect stay in this wonderful house. The house equipment is exactly as described in the info page. The host was very generous with the stuff he has at home. We had a wonderful time!
